Hero MotoCorp has unveiled yet another new motorcycle at EICMA, and this one is Karizma XMR 250. That marks a benchmark to its entry into the quarter-litre space by Jaipur-based bikemaker. So here’s what the Hero Karizma 250 promises to deliver:
As with typical Karizma fare, the new 250 sports a sporty stance, sharp body panels, and an aggressive face. Its split LED headlight closely resembles the unit we find on the current Hero Xoom. The new Karizma, however, gets appendages too-just right below the headlight. It also gets vents at the side that direct air for better heat dissipation.
The Karizma XMR 250 will be powered by a 250cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine churning out 30bhp and 25Nm. It will come with a six-speed gearbox. Full LED illumination, a TFT, dual-channel ABS, and an integrated starter switch make for the feature list on the Hero Karizma XMR 250. The company has also given the bike height-adjustable clip-on handles.
At the hardware front, it would get USD front forks along with a monoshock. The braking hardware has a single front and rear disc mounted on 17-inch tyres.
Hero is going to launch the bike officially very soon and make official announcements about the prices also. Once launched, this bike will compete with the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250.
The Hero XPulse 200 is an adventure motorcycle with 199.6 cc unit developing 19.17 PS, the torque generation of the powertrain that gives away to 17.35 Nm for mileage about around 51.59 kmpl kerb weight, 159 kg.
