Several Marathi News publications confirmed the death of the veteran actor Atul Parchure. His family hasn’t commented on the cause of death yet. He had said a year ago that he was suffering from cancer.

According to Pune Pulse, The veteran actor said, “I had completed 25 years of my wedding. I was fine when we went to Australia and New Zealand. But after a few days, I wasn’t able to eat anything.”. My brother took me to some doctor later, and he treated me with some medicines, but those did not help much for me. Then, I consulted so many doctors, and they told me to get my ultrasonography done. In that time, while he used to do that, I was observing something wrong in his eyes, and was feeling the same. They said that I have a tumour around 5 centimetres long in the liver. That is cancerous. I asked him would I be well or not, to which he replied, ‘You will.’
