This piece explores ten activities to experience at Jim Corbett as a trio of companions recommended. Yatin, Urvashi, and Krishna. Through their journey, they reveal the array of attractions, at this well-known national park.

Being an avid lover of wildlife, he wanted to go on a jeep safari in the Dhikala zone. It houses a dense biodiversity involving Bengal tigers, elephants, and the major deer species. The early morning call beckoned, and they all set out for possible wildlife sightings in its habitat. It didn’t take much time; within minutes, they came upon a majestic tiger lying under a tree basking in the sun. The excitement of the sight of the magnificent creature was never going to be forgotten by Yatin and his friends.

This single attraction in Jim Corbett is a jeep safari, where one can see the dense forests and grasslands as a guided trip along with a knowledgeable driver. The best time is between October and June because that’s when your chances of spotting are higher because of lower vegetation cover.

Then, of course, there was the elephant safari. Urvashi had always felt a desire to ride an elephant through the jungle. They scheduled their ride at Bijrani zone where, upon arrival, they were wonderfully received by friendly mahouts and the gentle giants. Riding atop the elephant afforded them a unique perspective of the forest they could see over the tall grass and spot animals that would otherwise remain hidden.

I would say that the elephant safari is all the more attractive because there is a pace so that people can absorb their surroundings and enjoy the wildlife without frightening it. For Urvashi, this was a serene and exhilarating experience.

After the rafting, we decided to trek into the Sitabani forest. We had registered for a guided trek, and during our journey, there were stunning views of the surrounding hills through luscious green flora. This trek was moderately difficult, but rewarding as we could see an array of flora and fauna through which we passed.

Trekking in Jim Corbett allows tourists to keep themselves close to nature and fit at the same time. The ideal seasons for trekking are October to March, during which the climate is amiable.

Corbett offers a chance to stay close to nature wherein sounds of wildlife become able to be heard during nights. It is very important for camping that a person must follow the safety and should be vigilant about wildlife.
